Ninja rank level 4 - just one of nine ranks you can achieve through ninja maths
Ninja Math is a mental maths game where students move through different ninja rankings based on their ability to complete a certain amount of mental maths questions in a limited amount of time. The questions are based across all four mathematical operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Our focus for term one is multiplication.
The goal is to answer as many questions as you can in three minutes and then try to beat that score the next time you play. Depending on how many questions you answer all students are assigned a ninja rank – ranging from level one ‘Genin’ all the way to level nine ‘Suprim Masuta’. To reach level nine students must be able to answer 180 questions in only 3 minutes – a challenging task for anyone!
After each term our ninja rankings will reset as we tackle our next mathematical operation.
If you would like to practice at home you can access the excel document with all our questions here. The document automatically loads new questions each time you open it so no two practice sheets are ever the same. If you would like to use it to practice you can – but please know this is for private use only.
