I hope you are all well and excited for a big Friday!
Let's start with the bad news.
The following students have not completed their homework this week! These students need to take their ipad down to the circus tent area and complete their mathletics at recess (and lunch too if necessary)
I see the same names popping up again and again...not good!
In other news here is a rundown of today's events.
9.00am - Mass
10.00am - Religion
Students who have not completed either their Confirmation or angles assessment need to come to the Health classroom at this time so these can be done. Bring everything you think you will need.
Students are to continue on to the next stage of their Confirmation lap book. The next section is the 'My Saint' section.
All students should have already well and truly begun researching their saint (as your assignments are now due in one week). You are to create a brief piece of writing that includes the following details:
Why you chose your saint
How did my saint serve God?
What can I learn from my saint that I can use in my own life?
You need to include each of these three things. Your writing should be in full sentences and probably 1-2 paragraphs given the size of paper you have to write in.
You should create a draft in your RE book first and once Mrs Phipps or Miss Anderson has checked off the three criteria you can do your lap book copy. Of course, you can decorate it once finished to it fits the theme of the rest of your lap book.
If you don't get this finished in class today it will probably become homework for next week so use your time wisely. Also if you have other parts of your book that need completing make sure you get them done too!
If you finish early you can be watching the video(s) and working through some of the examples for Order of Operations which I posted two days ago. This will help you prepare for Monday's maths lesson (and shock horror - you could even do this over the weekend if you wanted to get ahead in your learning!)
RECESS - Mrs Phipps I have duty in the circus tent area :)
11.00am - Music
11.45am - Friendly Schools with Miss Anderson
1.15pm - Science
2.15pm - Liturgical Singing (year 6 teachers should not be on duty but just double check)
3.00pm - Home time
It should all make sense guys! Make sure you are listening at all times and doing your best!
